牛皮癣与哮喘的关联:一项基于人群的回顾性队列研究

   背景:
牛皮癣与哮喘均是免疫介导的慢性炎症性疾病,因此本研究旨在评估牛皮癣患者和正常人群中哮喘发生率的差异。
   方法:本研究中涉及的数据均来自台湾国民健康保险研究数据库(NHIRD)。总共有10288例牛皮癣患者和匹配的41152例正常人被纳入分析,采用Cox比例风险回归分析模型分析牛皮癣患者群体与正常人群体中哮喘发生风险的差异。
   结果:经年龄、性别及合并症等变量的调整后,牛皮癣患者群体哮喘发生风险比正常人群体高1.38倍(95%可信区间Cl=1.23-1.54)。男性牛皮癣患者群体与女性牛皮癣患者群体间哮喘的发生率无显著差异。在所有年龄〉50岁的人群中,牛皮癣患者哮喘发生的风险显著高于正常人。对于年龄在50~64岁之间的人群,其校正后的危害比HR为1.49(95%可信区间CL=1.18-1.88)。对于年龄>65岁的人群,校正后的危害比为1.63(95%可信区间CL=1.34-1.99)。
   结论:本研究的结果表明,牛皮癣患者群体哮喘发生风险高于正常人。本文享有版权保护,并保留所有权利。

Association Between Psoriasis and Asthma: A Population-Based Retrospective Cohort Analysis.

ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND:
Both of psoriasis and asthma are chronic immune-mediated inflammatory diseases. We evaluate the risk of asthma development in patients with psoriasis compared with controls.
METHODS: This cohort study was conducted using data from the Taiwan National Health Insurance Research Database (NHIRD). Patients with psoriasis (n = 10 288) and matched comparison patients without psoriasis (n = 41 152) were evaluated. A Cox proportional hazard regression analysis was used to determine the risk of asthma in patients with and without psoriasis.
RESULTS: The risk of asthma was 1.38-fold higher (95% confidence interval (CI) = 1.23-1.54) in the psoriasis cohort than in the reference cohort, after adjusting for age, sex, and comorbidities. The incidence of asthma in male and female patients with psoriasis exhibited nonsignificant differences. Among all patients aged > 50 years, psoriasis was associated with higher risk of asthma compared without psoriasis (adjusted hazard ratio (HR), 1.49 (95% CI = 1.18-1.88) in patients aged 50-64 years; adjusted HR, 1.63 (95% CI = 1.34-1.99) in patients aged > 65 years).
